The villa of engineer Abdul Rahman Al-Saif in Medina
Engineer Abdul Rahman Al-Saif designed his house (Engineer Abdul Rahman Al-Saif’s villa in Medina) in the Al Khatim neighborhood. The architectural work was done with a simplified architecture whose lines were inspired by the local architecture of Medina, influenced by the traditional civil house, while adding modern touches that are easy and inexpensive at the same time. The architectural solution was made in several small courtyards with heavenly spaces, where the elements of the house were wrapped around those courtyards. Inexpensive building materials were also used, such as paint and exterior cladding with white sand spray, and stone with different squares was used for the floors. In the end, the dwelling appeared to fulfill the desire of the owner and the family together.
